Tangy Cheese Danish

Who doesn’t like cheese? Who doesn’t like danish? And when both combined 👌👌👌👌👌

You need...

🍋 8 oz cream cheese

🍋 Zest of one lemon

🍋 3 tablespoon of granulated sugar

🍋 2 eggs

🍋 1 sheet of Puff pastry

🍋 3 tablespoon of powder sugar


1. Preheat oven to 350.

2. Grab the puff pastry and let it come to room temperature

3. In a bowl, whip cream cheese til it becomes smooth.

4. Stir in lemon zest, sugar and 1 egg til mixed well. Set aside.

5. In a small bowl, whisk the other egg. Set aside.

6. Place the puff pastry on a lined and lightly sprayed baking sheet.

7. Cut 4*4 inch squares

8. In the middle of each square, place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture.

9. Brush the outer edges with the whisk egg.

10. Fold two opposite edges towards each other like a taco, pinch together.



11. Brush the top of it with egg.

12. Do the same with the other two corners.

13. Brush the top with more egg.

14. Repeat until all the squares are finished

15. Bake for 15 mins.

16. Remove from the oven and immediately dust with the powder sugar
