Blackberry Cake

Do you like slightly tart desserts with a hint a sweetness? Then this cake is for you! This cake is so easy to make and you only need five ingredients!



What you need

šŸ° 1 cup of milk

šŸ° 1 stick of butter - 1/2 cup

šŸ° 1 and 1/3 cup of granulated sugar

šŸ° 1 cup of flour

šŸ° 1 1/2 cup of fresh blackberries


  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. Melt butter in the microwave. Set aside.

  3. Wash blackberries and pat dry. Set aside.

  4. Combine 1 cup of sugar with the 1 cup of flour in a mixing bowl.

  5. Add milk to the mixing bowl. Mix all 3 ingredients together.

  6. Add butter to the mixing bowl. Mix all 4 ingredients together.

  7. Butter baking dish. I used a 9 by 13. Pour batter into the dish.

  8. Drop blackberries evenly throughout batter.

  9. Sprinkle 1/3 cup of granulated sugar over the blackberry batter.

  10. Bake for 50 minutes (this depends on the size of your baking dish) or until golden brown.

Best served with vanilla ice cream or whip cream!
