Stuffed Hungarian Peppers

Get in my belly!!!! šŸ’šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøšŸ’šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

You need..

šŸ¤¤ 1/2 lb ground pork

šŸ¤¤ 1/2 lb ground beef

šŸ¤¤ 1 large onion

šŸ¤¤ 1 green pepper- diced

šŸ¤¤ 1/2 red pepper

šŸ¤¤ 1 cup brown rice

šŸ¤¤ 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes

šŸ¤¤ 1 teaspoon of salt

šŸ¤¤ 1 teaspoon of black pepper

šŸ¤¤ 2 tablespoon of Hungarian paprika

šŸ¤¤ 5 large green peppers

šŸ¤¤ tomato sauce

šŸ¤¤ 2 tablespoon of olive oil

šŸ¤¤ sour cream

šŸ¤¤ 4 cups of water

šŸ¤¤ 1/2 cup of sour cream

šŸ¤¤ 2 tablespoon of flour

šŸ¤¤ 1 tablespoon of sugar- if you like it sweeter add more

šŸ¤¤ 1/4 cup of tomato paste


1. In a skillet, heat up olive oil.

2. Clean and dice peppers and onions.

3. Place onions and peppers in skillet and cook.

4. Cook til the onions are translucent.

5. Once the onions are cooked place in a medium mixing bowl.

6. Stir in seasonings and rice.

7. Add meat. Stir and set aside.

8. Cut the tops of 5 green peppers and clean the insides. 9. Place peppers in a deep pan.

10. Stuff each pepper with the mixture.

11. Place water around peppers, almost to the top of the peppers. Make sure not to get water in the peppers.



12. Cook on medium heat for about a hour and half. This depends on how big your peppers are.

13. A few minutes before the peppers are done... Mix sour cream, sugar, flour and tomato paste together in a separate bowl.

14. Pour mixture on each pepper. Let cook for another few minutes to help marinate flavors and sauce to thicken.



Perfectly served with some of the tomato paste sauce and sour cream!
