Spaghetti Sauce

You’ll never buy jar sauce again!!! This can be made vegetarian, just skip the meat!

You need...


🍝 1lb of Italian hot sausage / can use mild

🍝 1 large white onion- diced

🍝 1 red pepper- diced

🍝 1/2 green pepper - diced

🍝 3 garlic cloves - minced

🍝 1 1/2 teaspoon of salt

🍝 1 teaspoon of black pepper

🍝 1 tablespoon of olive oil

🍝 28 oz Tomato sauce

🍝 3 fresh basil leafs


1. In a large skillet, heat up olive oil. 2. Crumble the Italian sausage in the skillet, breaking up the pieces the best you can.

3. Cook for about 7 mins.

4. Add diced onion and diced peppers.

5. When the onions become translucent: add minced garlic, salt, pepper And one minced basil leaf..



6. Cook for 2 minutes and then add tomato sauce. Cook on low heat for ten minutes to help all the flavors marinate.



7. I like to add 2 minced basil leafs right before serving.


Serve with your favorite type of noodles!
