Hungarian Steak Quesadilla

Hungarian twist on an American favorite!

You need...

🍅 8 flour toritlla

🍅 Swiss cheese or any cheese you like - I used 16 slices.

🍅 1 medium size red pepper

🍅 1 medium size white onion

🍅 1 lb of beef - sliced

🍅 1 tablespoon of olive oil

🍅 2 tablespoon of taco seasoning

🍅 pinch of salt and pepper

🍅 1/2 teaspoon of Hungarian Paprika

🍅 2 tablespoon of butter

🍅 About a cup of spinach

🍅 1 clove of garlic- minced

1. Heat up olive oil in a deep skillet.

2. Slice beef, and add to skillet. Cook on medium heat for five minutes. Make sure to stir occasionally.

3. Clean and finely slice peppers and onions. Add onions and pepper to skillet. Cook for another 5 minutes. I add the veggies after the meat so they remain somewhat crunchy.

4. Stir in garlic and seasonings. Cook for another minute or so, allowing flavors to marinate.

5. Remove from heat.

6. In another skillet, melt 1/2 tablespoon of butter.

7. Place a flour tortilla in skillet. Start building your quesadilla. It goes tortilla, cheese, spinach, beef mixture, cheese and then another toritlla. The tortilla should take about 2-4 minutes to brown. Flip so the other side browns and the cheese is all melted.

8. Repeat steps 7-11 til mixture is gone

Perfectly served with my chipotle sour cream
