Hungarian Feta and Dill Bread

Writer: Christina Christina

You would never think these two things would go so good together, but they do!!! Perfectly served with room temperature butter.

You will need ...

🍞 A tube of store bought bread dough (I’m cheating and not using homemade)

🍞 1/2 cup of fresh dill finely chopped

🍞 1/4 cup of feta cheese

🍞 1/4 cup of olive oil

🍞 1 egg

1. Open the dough and stretch it out with you hands (try not to make any holes).Drizzle with olive oil, and let it sit out for 1 hour.

2. Preheat oven to 350.

3. Time to get your hands dirty. Massage the dough to ensure no air bubbles while stretching it to form a rectangle.

4. Leaving a inch border all the way around, sprinkle the dough with feta cheese and dill.

5.Carefully roll the bread to create a log.

6. Whisk the egg and brush it on top the bread dough. I like to sprinkle a little more dill on top.

7. Bake for 35-40 mins. You want a nice golden brown color.
