Cinnabon Cake

You can’t go wrong with a cake that taste like those yummy cinnabons you get at the mall.

You need...

Base

☕️ 3 cups of flour

☕️ 1/4 teaspoon of salt

☕️ 1 cup of sugar

☕️ 4 teaspoon of baking powder

☕️ 1 1/2 cups of milk

☕️ 2 eggs - room temperature

☕️ 2 teaspoon of vanilla

☕️ 1/2 cup of melted butter

Topping

☕️ 1 cup of butter- softened

☕️ 1 cup of brown sugar

☕️ 2 tablespoon of vanilla

☕️ 1 tablespoon of cinnamon

Icing

☕️ 2 cups of powder sugar

☕️ 5 tablespoon of milk

☕️ 1 teaspoon of vanilla

1. Preheat oven to 350.

2. Melt butter for the base of the cake, set aside.

3. Lightly spray and line a 9 by 13 baking dish, set aside.

4. Mix all base ingredients together besides the melted butter. Mix well. 5. Add slightly cooled, melted butter to base ingredients.

6. Pour batter into lined baking dish.

7. Mix all topping ingredients together in a separate bowl.

8. Grab a teaspoon and drop topping mixture over the base.

9. Grab a butter knife and swirl the topping into the base.

10. Bake for about 30 mins or until a toothpick is inserted, comes out clean.

11. Make the icing by mixing all ingredients together.

12. Drizzle icing over warm cake. I like to only drizzle half the icing. I drizzle the rest over slices right before serving.

I also like to serve with homemade whip cream and chopped walnuts!
