Beef Kafta


Kafta traditionally is put on skewer and cooked like a kebab. But I like cooking mine on a skillet, placing it on a big plate and surrounding it will fillers to build your own Kafta burrito. One plate dishes are easy to make, assemble and clean up a breeze.


You will need...

🧆 1 lb organic ground beef

🧆 1/2 teaspoon salt

🧆 1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper

🧆 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

🧆 1/4 cup of finely minced fresh parsley

🧆 1/4 cup of finely minced onion

🧆 1 clove of garlic finely minced

🧆 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder

🧆 1/4 of a cup Of chopped green onion


1. Finely chop up parsley, onion and garlic.

2. Put ground beef in a bowl and add all the ingredients Besides green onion. Get your hands dirty, mix everything really well.

3. Grab a skillet. Warm up 2 tablespoon of oil. 4. Add meat and cook until it’s cooked. Some like it a little rare but I like this dish well. I cooked mine for 15 mins. 5. When it’s almost done cooking, add green onion.




I made my Veggie Couscous and Parmesan Pita Chips to go with this. You can serve this with just warm pita bread and some veggies, It’s whatever you like. Put your own twist on it!
