Cloud Noodles

Yes, you heard that right. Cloud noodles were always a staple in our Hungarian household. As a picky eater when I was younger, my mom never had to fight me on eating this. .

.

This is a homemade broth but you can use whatever one you like. .

👉🏻Boiling broth- If you use store bought put some carrots and parsley in it to dress it up.

👉🏻 1 room temperature egg.

👉🏻 About 1/2 cup cream of wheat.

👉🏻 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda .

.

Scramble the egg in a bowl. Once scrambled add the baking soda. Slowly add the cream of wheat. The amount of cream of wheat depends on the egg. If the egg is cold you will use less. If it’s warm you will use more. You want a thick consistency, so just eyeball it. Remember if it’s to runny it will break apart in the broth. Grab a spoon and dip it in the mixture, scooping a little. Slowly add it to the boiling broth and please be careful to not burn yourself. Let it cook 3-5 mins which depends on the size of the noodles. .

Now enjoy! And everyone will think you spent all day cooking 😛 #momwin .
