Chocolate Roll - Keksz Tekerc

A Simple Hungarian dessert that is perfect for any occasion

You need..

❣️ 1 package of tea biscuit cookies

❣️ 2 sticks of room temperature butter

❣️ 3 heaping tablespoons of apricot jam

❣️ 2 tablespoon of cocoa powder

❣️ 1 tablespoon of powder sugar

Depending on the type of cocoa butter you may need to add some sugar.


1. Place you tea biscuit cookies in a gallon size bag. I used...



2. You want to crumble the cookies into mini pieces. You can use a rolling pin or your hands. Set aside.

3. Place butter, jam and cocoa powder in a bowl. Mix til combined.

4. Add tea biscuit crumbs. Combine well.



5. Grab a piece of parchment paper and spray lightly with cooking spray.

6. Place a heaping amounts in a vertical line.



7. Roll into a log using the parchment paper.



Place in the fridge for at least two hours.




I like to slice right before serving, perfectly served with coffee
